My, it's dusty in here

So as I clear away the cobwebs in this place, I find I want to do more than just book reviews so I think a rework is in order. When I started the site, I thought I would add music and movie reviews later and that it would be a good place for me to keep track of what I had read, listened to or seen. My reviews ended up being more editorial than informational, however, so as a personal quick-reference guide, it wasn't very convenient. Expanding the focus of writing on the site to include more things "on my radar" (so to speak) would allow me to both maintain more consistent updates AND give me the opportunity to write about other things of interest, like Apple, Flying Spaghetti Monster, High-Tech Gadgetry, art, music and whatever else that captures my attention. I guess I can do this on blogger, but I will probably be looking for a different blogging application that would make it easier to link and embed graphics and audio files; don't know if there is one. Any suggestions?
